Last week, and for the second year running, Voipfone was declared one of the best VoIP providers in the UK by the Federation of Communication Services – the Trade Association for the UK communications services industry.
It is a major achievement for such a relatively young company to win an award for innovation and achievement in a sector dominated by some of the largest companies in the world. Find out more about the awards and the FCS
Freelancealot.co.uk has been using Voipfone for our Voice Over Internet service for two years now, and we’ve found them very reliable. They have a wide range of useful telecommunication services and their customer support team has been easy to contact, both by phone and email, and have proved to be very helpful on the rare occasion we needed assistance.
They provide us with a virtual PBX, which together with our Snom 360 VoIP phone, provides us with four lines. We’re able to take calls on behalf of our clients and provide a UK geographical number (eg. 0161, 0207) to divert their phones to. We can transfer calls to clients, set business hours for calls so that out-of-office calls go direct to voicemail and messages are immediately forwarded to our email as wav files, and send text messages. We can even record our telephone conversations at a press of a button.
[WARNING – Blatant Horn-blowing Ahead: If you’re a sole trader or small business looking for a simple call handling service to take calls when you’re in a meeting or out of the office for a couple of days, then please contact us. CG]
